1. Removed the rotten portion of the beam shelf, after adding support to  prevent excessive strain on existing structure.

2. Scarfed the ends of the remaining part of the beam shelf. Ready to template (measure up) the new beam.

3. Constructed, fitted and epoxied the new solid timber beam shelf. The wood is carefully matched to the existing structure.

4. Replaced and refastened timbers which were removed to access the beam shelf, using traditional copper nails.

5. Filled voids for additional strength and durability.

5. Templated, made and fitted  replacement hull planking - caulked and fitted, ready for painting.
